Position Overview

Trimble is seeking a talented Content Specialist to join our Brand team. In this role, you'll be the voice of our brand, creating engaging content across various channels and touchpoints. You'll partner with Brand Strategy, Brand Marketing, Brand Experience, and Public Relations to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive brand narrative that resonates with our target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:

    • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content across various formats, including website copy, blog posts, articles, social media updates, marketing collateral, presentations, and internal communications.

    • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content.

    • Adapt writing style to suit different channels and target audiences.

  • Content Strategy:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of content strategies that align with overall brand objectives.

    • Conduct research and analyze content performance to identify areas for improvement.

    • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging content trends.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with Brand Strategy to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging frameworks.

    • Support Brand Marketing in creating compelling content for campaigns and initiatives.

    • Collaborate with Brand Experience to develop engaging content for events and activations.

  • Content Management:

    • Maintain and update content calendars and editorial schedules.

    • Manage content assets and ensure they are organized and accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation and marketing, preferably in a brand-focused role.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of content strategy and best practices.

  • Experience working with different content formats and channels.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Proficient in Google Suite and content management systems.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with SEO and content optimization.

  • Familiarity with design principles and visual storytelling.

  • Knowledge of public relations.
