About PointFive

PointFive is the AI Efficiency OS. From the cloud to the coding agent, we're the only platform that manages AI spend everywhere it happens.

Engineering and FinOps teams use PointFive to make their organizations more efficient and their cloud and AI more effective. We don't just show what you spend. We show what you're wasting, and we fix it autonomously. NuBank saw ROI in 10 days. Customers average 1,200%+ ROI and a 4.9 rating on G2.

Founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7), PointFive recently closed a $60M Series B led by Accel, with participation from Entrée Capital and Salesforce Ventures.

About the Role

This is a generalist creative seat with real ownership over how PointFive looks, sounds, and shows up in the world — across the website, ads, social, product marketing, events, and sales decks. You'll work directly with the CMO and a small, senior six-person marketing team, with no layers and no week-long brief approvals.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve the PointFive visual identity — the system, components, rules, and when to break them — as the brand grows into its new positioning.
  • Concept, design, and produce static and motion creative for integrated ad campaigns across LinkedIn, paid social, OOH at events, and beyond.
  • Design new website pages and components (built on Vercel + GitHub), working with Claude Code to ship them.
  • Direct and produce design for pitch decks, event booths, swag, and partner co-marketing — whatever gets it done best.
  • Create animation and motion work — loops, product UI motion, social cutdowns, and hero brand videos.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

  • 5+ years doing this work, ideally with time inside a brand-led B2B or consumer company (agency experience also welcome).
  • A portfolio that shows range — brand systems, performance creative, and motion — with a clear point of view.
  • Native fluency with AI creative tools (Claude/Claude Design, Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Veo, ElevenLabs, Seedance, Suno, Figma Make, or equivalents), used daily.
  • Expert-level command of Figma or an equivalent design tool.
  • The "producer gene" — able to run a project, hit a date, and manage external freelancers when scaling up.
  • Based in Boston, or willing to be in-office with the Boston marketing team 3x/week (New York also considered).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $165,000 – $180,000, plus equity
  • Health, dental, vision (yes, all three!), equity in something early-stage and exciting, generous PTO, 401K, meal & commuter benefits, and a team that will actually challenge you.

Why PointFive

  • Founders with a track record — Built and sold IntSights to Rapid7. Backed by top-tier investors with deep conviction in this category.
  • Category-defining product — DeepWaste detection and agentic remediation with clear, measurable ROI for both engineering and finance teams.
  • Early-stage leverage — Your work directly shapes the product, the culture, and the go-to-market playbook.
  • An AI-native marketing function from day one — you'll be expected, and supported, to work with cutting-edge creative AI tools as a core part of the job, not a future initiative.

Equal Opportunity Statement

PointFive is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
