- Provide expert-level operational support for maintenance activities, software and hardware upgrades, and operational changes.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex and major IP Security incidents, leading deep root cause analysis and driving sustainable corrective actions.
- Support and mentor engineers by providing advanced troubleshooting guidance across multi-vendor security solutions (firewalls, IPS, authentication servers, load balancers, and DDoS protection solutions).
- Analyze and monitor traffic behavior through firewalls, define performance baselines, and lead investigations into anomalies or service degradations.
- Identify security threats, perform risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies aligned with customer, MS, and industry security standards.
- Review, validate, and technically drive IP backbone security expansions, replacements, solution designs, and optimization activities.
- Coordinate and provide technical governance for high-urgency cases and on-call escalations, ensuring fast, accurate decision-making and minimal service impact.

- Solid understanding of telecom-grade networks and service provider security challenges.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Very good command of the English language.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions, influence outcomes, and ensure alignment across operational, engineering, and vendor teams.
