Position Summary
The Billing Supervisor is responsible for managing the billing cycle from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to contractual agreements. This individual will work closely with the finance, sales, and service delivery teams to ensure a smooth and efficient billing process, while also mentoring and guiding the billing coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients
- Supervise and mentor billing staff, ensuring best practices and process consistency
- Review and validate contracts, service agreements, and time/expense entries to ensure correct billing
- Ensure proper application of billing codes, rates, and pricing structures
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in coordination with account management and clients
- Monitor and report on billing KPIs and metrics
- Support month-end and year-end close processes with billing-related accruals and reconciliations
- Assist with client audits and provide billing documentation as needed
- Continuously improve billing processes and systems to support scalability and accuracy
- Maintain documentation of billing procedures and workflows
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams on system upgrades, automation, and integration
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of billing experience
- Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or technology environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with PSA systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask) and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred but not required.
- Prior management/supervisory responsibilities preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- This position is fully remote with a target base salary range of $55-$70k.

- Match 100% on the first 4% of your contribution to 401k.
