Job Summary

The Billing Operations Manager is responsible for customer service and billing operations, develops and manages staff, resolves complex issues, and partners with others to meet the department goals. The role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, productivity, and time-management skills.  This is an in-office role based out of our Boston, MA office.


Responsibilities

  • Assigns and monitors team resources to ensure daily operations meet department goals

  • Effectively trains, develops, and appraises staff

  • Communicates effectively with staff, peers and senior management to articulate ideas, issues, and solutions 

  • Serves as the primary billing expert between the team and other segments of the organization

  • Takes ownership and resolves any assignment presented to the billing team

Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent experience required

  • Customer service experience required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Strong time-management, productivity, and organizational skills required

  • Billing and payment operations experience preferred

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • MBA, CPCU, or AIC designation preferred
