As our Operations Lead, you will partner with client representatives and your R1 team to perform detailed reviews of facility-wide financial and operational metrics with the goal of identifying and capitalizing upon opportunities for process, cost, and patient satisfaction improvement. Every day you will partner with line level client representatives and other R1 operators and serve as a liaison for training and subject matter expertise on the utilization of R1 workflow technologies. To thrive in this role, you will have a strong grasp of backend revenue cycle management, analytical skills to identify opportunities, and the ability to share your knowledge with others.

Here’s what you will experience working as an Operations Lead:

  • Mitigate back-end revenue leakage through contract negotiation, change management, lean process improvement, making recommendations for innovative software development, and advanced quantitative analysis on core financial metrics.

  • Serves as a liaison for training and subject matter expertise on the utilization of R1 workflow technologies; coach client staff and managers to improve workflow and operational performance.

  • Implement R1 technology, training, and process excellence initiatives across pre-registration, registration, and financial counseling departments.

  • Interpret basic data sets and create data analyses to drive desired results; provide value-add feedback to R1 leadership on development of project plans.

  • Continuously detect and resolve data defects while creating solutions to prevent future defects and respond to ad-hoc client requests and develops solutions in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • You’ve worked in backend revenue cycle management where you learned billing workflows and can use this knowledge to identify rejection and edit trends

  • You have demonstrated career progression in healthcare revenue cycle management

  • Your written and verbal communication skills support your ability to effectively coach, train, and present to internal and external stakeholders

  • You know how to use Excel for reporting and data analysis including the use of pivot tables

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $43,888.00 - $70,631.44 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
