Billing & Invoicing Analyst
Location: London, United Kingdom
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Summary
The Billing & Invoicing Analyst supports CSC's Billing Centre of Excellence by delivering accurate, timely, and client-focused billing and accounts receivable activities. This role is responsible for preparing billing data, releasing fees, raising invoices, and managing billing queries through a ticketing system. You'll partner closely with finance and operational teams to resolve issues, maintain client-specific billing instructions, and help ensure consistent billing outcomes. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance operations environment with high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a central point of contact for billing and invoicing queries, investigating and resolving issues to closure
  • Prepare client-specific billing summaries and reports to support billing accuracy and transparency
  • Maintain and update special billing instructions to reflect client requirements and internal controls
  • Prepare and input data for ad hoc, quarterly, and annual billing activity, including fee releases and invoice readiness checks
  • Support the monthly centralised billing cycle, including fee releases, invoice creation, and validation steps
  • Process and manage billing tickets (e.g., invoice creation, write-off requests, time uploads, down payment requests, liquidations, amendments, onboarding requests)
  • Ensure timely follow-up on open tickets and completion of weekly reporting routines
  • Assist with clearing unbilled fees across jurisdictions and contribute to billing-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide general support to finance and accounts teams as needed to meet month-end and operational deadlines

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, and/or 3-5 years of relevant billing or accounts receivable experience
  • Experience working in a billing, invoicing, or finance operations environment with high transaction accuracy expectations
  • Strong client service mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using SAP (or similar ERP/billing platforms)
  • Experience working with ticketing/workflow systems in a shared services or centre of excellence environment
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdiction billing, professional services billing, or complex client billing instructions
  • Familiarity with billing controls, fee releases, and unbilled fee management
