As a Billing Analyst, you'll manage invoicing, resolve billing issues, conduct reconciliations, and support operational efficiency through collaboration and documentation.
Job Summary
As a Billing Analyst, you will play an essential role on our billing team, reporting to the team leader. You will use your analytical skills, attention to detail, and people skills to ensure correct invoicing to our clients. You will collaborate cross-functionally, both internally and with clients, to answer billing-related questions, drive process improvements related to billing, and contribute to other projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT billing specialist looking to make an impact at a successful, rapidly growing Managed Service Provider.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Communicate with teams across the organization to get answers to questions that relate to billing, and respond to client billing questions submitted via the billing ticket board
- Collect clean & validate data to produce a monthly billing reconciliation report, which is a critical step in our monthly recurring revenue billing process
- Complete monthly invoice variance analysis by customer and product
- Lead “first invoice review” meetings for onboarding clients, collaborating with Sales, Project Management (PM), and Client Experience Management (CXM) teams to ensure billable accuracy from the start
- Prepare and send invoices to clients
- Skilled in developing and updating process documentation to support operational efficiency
- Ad-hoc projects and reports as required

Qualifications
- 2+ years in a billing role at an IT services business with recurring revenue OR an IT consulting firm focused on Dynamics Business Central
- Sales Force, Service Now, Connect Wise, and Dynamics 365 Business Central experience desired
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data management)
- Must be in an Eastern or Central time zone
