Salary: $109,200 per year
Job Duties:
- Lead quality assurance and validation of 4G and 5G solutions for 5GNR/LTE wireless products for our Baseband Unit (BBU) team. Develop and execute test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases.
- Monitor comprehensive tests to validate product features and identify product defects and generate comprehensive test reports for internal and external consumption. Follow best practices for quality assurance including test-driven development, daily standup, and code standards for wireless products.
- Investigate, report, track, and manage recommendations to make product quality improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Analyze data requirements, develop data models to normalize large data sets, and develop software and QA protocols for data access and security.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or an Engineer position.
- All of the required experience must have included: performing QA and testing of 4G/5G features, radio performance, and commercial UE chipset; conducting UE performance testing on different UE models; building/configuring LAB test networks; writing/configuring test plans and executing test cases for release cycle; debugging issues and logging analysis using QXDM and Wireshark; interacting with customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams; and applying knowledge of network simulators (Anritsu or Keysight), wireless technologies (5G-SA, 5G-NSA and 4G), stack layers (NAS, RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, and PHY), PHY layer analysis for 4G/5G, LTE/NR-CA, Scheduler, Link adaptation, and IRAT mobility functions. #LI-DNI
