Job Description
You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships and providing financial advice to your clients. A role as a Life Sciences Associate Banker is for you.
As an associate banker in our Life Sciences industry, you will work both independently and as part of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. You will be responsible for helping bankers cover new prospects, deepen existing client relationships, complete portfolio reviews, build market share and drive internal and external client dialogue. You will be required to have deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Commercial Card and Merchant Services.
Job Responsibilities
  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships

  • Find ways to drive new client acquisition in partnership with the bankers

  • Embrace a culture of respect, diversity and inclusion

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • 3+ years in a similar banking, venture, credit or treasury role

  • Outstanding professional reputation and integrity

  • Strong leadership skills required

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain new and profitable relationships in a highly competitive environment

  • Ability to assess risks inherent in complex credit transactions and mitigate, structure and negotiate accordingly

  • Extensive knowledge of products and services

  • FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment preferred

  • Excellent problem solving, oral, and written communication skills
