Coterie’s Backend Engineer will be instrumental to the creation of the infrastructure and systems that run our products and partner integrations.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll work across the stack and will influence the tools we use, shape overall technology goals, and contribute to the development of your teammates. You’d be building out some of the most important parts of our platform.

This key hire will also be expected to create documentation around Coterie’s backend system so additional hires can be quickly trained and brought up to speed. We will heavily rely on your talent to help our team understand what new hires will be needed and when as the products scale.

Coterie also has unlimited PTO. We expect you to take time off at least 10 days during the year not including holidays - Christmas, New Years Day, Thanksgiving, July 4, Memorial Day, Labor Day


Requirements

  • 3+ years experience using C# .NET (preferably Core)
  • Proficient at developing API’s
  • SQL proficiency
  • Passionate about software testing
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • You seek to understand why decisions are made on the business side and are comfortable communicating with non-technical colleagues
