Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development:

   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems using Node.js.
   • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

2. System Architecture:

   • Collaborate with the technical team to define system architecture and integration patterns.
   • Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support frontend and mobile applications.
   • Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.

3. Database Management:

   • Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
   • Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient access patterns.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA engineers.
   • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality across the team.

5. DevOps and Deployment:

   • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
   • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

6. Leadership and Mentorship:

   • Guide junior developers by sharing knowledge, conducting training, and assisting in technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • 3-6 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with database design and management (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
