As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will deploy and configure cloud resources in AWS, advise clients on cloud technologies, and optimize operations while ensuring security best practices.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a talented team of engineers responsible for the deployment and configuration of cloud resources to meet individual client business needs in AWS. Client engagements cover a wide variety of business requirements and require our engineers to adapt quickly and stay on top of recent cloud technology trends. Candidates should be able to identify and remediate issues within cloud-based systems, based on their knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Sr. Cloud Engineer Responsibilities- Deploy and configure modular cloud-based systems within AWS
- Advise clients on the design and implementation of modern AWS cloud technologies
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and application deployment challenges
- Optimize cloud operations through the use of common infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
- Ensure efficient data storage and processing in accordance with client policies
- Apply cloud security best practices to all aspects of a project engagement
- Ability to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS resources using the following tools:
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
- Experience configuring Kubernetes clusters and deploying applications within a containerized environment
- Advanced understanding of network/VPC design and security principles
- Ability to identify opportunities for performance and cost improvements within an AWS environment
- Preferred: Associate/Pro level certification in AWS
