The Tidal Financial Group is a leading ETF investment technology platform dedicated to creating, operating, and growing ETFs. We combine expertise and innovative partnership approaches to offer comprehensive, value-generating ETF solutions.

Our platform offers best-in-class strategic guidance, product planning, trust and fund services, legal support, operations support, marketing and research, and sales and distribution services.

About the role

Tidal is seeking an experienced Studio Manager (AVP level) to oversee the flow of creative, digital assets and marketing projects across the CMO vertical. This role sits at the center of our internal studio, ensuring work moves smoothly from request to delivery, deadlines are met, and the right resources are aligned at the right time.

In an advertising agency, this role would typically be called a Traffic Manager. At Tidal, it is a mid-weight operational role that balances structure, pace, and precision in a fast-growing financial services environment.

You will partner closely with internal marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to keep projects on track, remove friction, and maintain a high standard of execution.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of all internal studio and marketing requests
  • Translate project requests into clear scopes, timelines, and resource plans
  • Manage workflows and project tracking in Monday.com, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and accountability
  • Coordinate with creative, marketing, and production resources to ensure timely delivery
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal Tidal teams and the studio
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and proactively resolve bottlenecks
  • Maintain visibility across all active workstreams and adjust priorities as business needs evolve
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all deliverables
  • Support leadership with reporting on capacity, timelines, and workflow performance

Qualifications

  • 5-8yrs+ of experience
  • Proven experience in studio management, traffic management, or project operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Monday.com (this is essential)
  • Strong track record managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Calm, structured, and solutions-oriented under pressure
  • Ability to balance speed with quality in a regulated or high-stakes environment
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or regulated industries is a plus (but not required)

Level & Scope

  • This is an AVP-level role with meaningful ownership and visibility
  • The role influences how work gets done, not just task execution
  • Ideal for someone who thrives on structure, flow, and operational mastery

Why Tidal
Tidal is an award-winning, industry-leading white-label ETF platform. We help our clients launch, manage, trade, and grow their ETFs by combining infrastructure, experience, and operational excellence.

We bring the same discipline and standards of mastery to our internal teams as we do to our clients. This role is critical to maintaining momentum, quality, and clarity as Tidal continues to scale.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
