The Tidal Financial Group is a leading ETF investment technology platform dedicated to creating, operating, and growing ETFs. We combine expertise and innovative partnership approaches to offer comprehensive, value-generating ETF solutions.

Our platform offers best-in-class strategic guidance, product planning, trust and fund services, legal support, operations support, marketing and research, and sales and distribution services.

About the role

TIDAL is looking for a Marketing Intelligence Manager (AVP level) to bring clarity, insight, and strategic intelligence to our marketing efforts. This role sits at the intersection of data, performance, and strategy, connecting every marketing touchpoint into a clear picture of what’s working, what isn’t, and what we should do next.

This is not a pure reporting role. It’s a hybrid strategist position for someone who genuinely geeks out over performance data, patterns, and signals others miss, and then translates those insights into smarter, more effective marketing campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Own performance tracking across all marketing touchpoints (digital, paid media, content, brand, campaign activity)
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks that provide clear, actionable insights
  • Analyze campaign performance and audience behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies
  • Partner with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to translate data into strategic recommendations
  • Identify what’s working, what’s underperforming, and where to optimize spend, messaging, or channels
  • Develop hypotheses, test-and-learn approaches, and post-campaign analyses
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms and reports
  • Bring external perspective, spotting patterns, benchmarks, and opportunities others may overlook

Qualifications

  • 5-8yrs+ experience
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, marketing intelligence, strategy, or performance marketing
  • AVP-level experience with the confidence to influence strategy and challenge assumptions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor
  • Deep curiosity and passion for understanding why performance moves, not just that it does
  • Ability to see connections and insights others don’t, and explain them clearly
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms, datasets, and stakeholders
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or regulated industries is a plus (but not required)

Level & Scope

  • This is an AVP-level role with strategic influence and visibility
  • You will help shape how marketing decisions are made, not just measured
  • Ideal for someone who blends analytical depth with strategic instinct

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
