Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President, Premium Advisor Strategy role reports to the SVP of Offering Strategy and plays a critical role in shaping how LPL attracts, serves, and supports advisors who require premium levels of service and support, and are typically focused on serving higher net worth (HNW) end-clients. This leader will define and advance LPL’s strategy to deepen engagement with advisors serving affluent and ultra‑affluent households, including by designing differentiated experiences, building enhanced overlays to existing affiliation models, and creating new ways of working that drive meaningful value for advisors who expect a premium level of support.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Market Analysis

• Develop and refine LPL’s firm‑wide strategy for advisors that demand a premium experience for themselves and their clients

• Define differentiated value propositions and service models tailored to HNW‑oriented practices.

• Conduct competitive assessments and market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.

• Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to deliver actionable insights.

• Identify opportunities to expand products, capabilities, and experiences that elevate the advisor and client journey.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Execution

• Partner with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Advisor Engagement teams.

• Support integration of technology and wealth solutions tailored to HNW advisors.

• Coordinate execution across business units to ensure alignment and measurable outcomes.

• Work with recruiting teams to enhance how LPL attracts premium focused advisors.

Advisor Experience, Engagement & Enablement

• Translate advisor feedback and market research into actionable recommendations.

• Develop new engagement models and service pathways.

• Create executive‑ready strategic briefings.

• Drive advisor satisfaction and retention by addressing key pain points.

Project Management & Communication

• Lead or support major strategic initiatives.

• Manage multiple workstreams and prioritize deliverables.

• Proactively communicate progress, risks, and milestones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisor platforms

Core Competencies:

• Understanding of HNW market and premium advisor business models

• Experience in corporate strategy, business line strategy, or consulting

• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and synthesize data into insights

Preferences:

• Advanced degree in business, strategy, or related field

• Experience in HNW product, practice management, or client experience design

• Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools


 

Pay Range:

$129,700-$216,200/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
