Job Description
Chase Auto is a leading provider of auto financing with a portfolio of more than $80 billion in assets and relationships with 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. The business is part of the JPMorgan Chase franchise and serves auto dealers, consumers, and vehicle manufacturers. It offers a range of products and services to meet the financial needs of its clients from retail lending, captive financing, and floorplan products to cash management, private banking, and payment processing. As a Credit Verification Specialist in auto finance, you will be responsible for calling, verifying and/or collecting information from customers as part of the auto loan underwriting process will be responsible for working with credit analysts, funders and loan integrity officers to investigate factors that need to be clarified with customers and subsequently contacting customers to obtain the required information. The verification process is based on existing credit policies and operations procedures.
You will also be responsible for managing a pipeline with a service level commitment to automotive dealers. Excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong time management skills are required to ensure exceptional customer service. This role is a great introduction to the auto business and can provide a solid foundation for advancement and growth within Chase Auto.
Job responsibilities
  • Conduct phone interviews with potential and existing auto customers; investigate and ensure due diligence
  • Interact with dealers, external customers and internal departments within Chase
  • Conduct employment and insurance verification
  • Investigate and verify pertinent loan information
  • Perform application rekeys to identify and correct application submission errors
  • Meet or exceed quality control audits
  • Participate in the document retention process

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Customer service and/or retail sales experience
  • Experience within a call center environment preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt within a changing environment
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
