JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION OVERVIEW

The Attraction Engineer will assist the Attraction Engineer Manager in the oversight and execution of all attraction maintenance and reporting at the engineering level. In combination with the appropriate software, this individual will be expected to assist with the log of incoming requests requiring guidance, upkeeping, repairs with a key focus on attractions out of service in the network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attraction Repairs: Assist Attraction Engineer Manager in the process of getting network attractions up and running through means of repair guidance, replacement of damaged parts, full replacement of attraction, and assigning maintenance teams.
- Communication: This role requires you to work closely with other team members in Engineering and Innovations. Collaboration with adjacent departments such as Design, Construction, Operations, and Facilities will also be a key function for this position.
- Deadline Oriented: While executing this position, a sense of urgency and accuracy will be key attributes. Providing exceptional customer service as well as the proper solution to network locations will be at the top of their priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Experience in a relevant field such as construction management, fabrication/structural assembly, or engineering. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience with customer service, family entertainment business, and/or attraction rides indoor/outdoor.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with power tools, measuring tools, and safety implementation, ASTM International knowledge (preferred).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing documentation.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions to overcome obstacles in the permit acquisition process.
- Travel: Ability to travel 30-50% of the time to attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, or project sites as needed.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, regulations, and project priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
- Ability to move around and position self appropriately during park onsite assessments.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation range is $60,000-70,000 based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Full-time employees at CircusTrix enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching. Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
