Job Summary
The Associate Video Content Producer is responsible for managing the production experience for Pluralsight authors. They support authors in achieving high course quality, including audio, video, presentation, and design standards in order to publish video content that is available even before the learner needs it. They support authors in achieving standards for high production quality for course production.
Duties/responsibilities
Educate authors in recording, production, presentation, and design standards and help to troubleshoot any issues related to production such as audio and live video recording setup
Manage the production process and deadlines for multiple authors during course creation, ensuring that quality content is delivered effectively and efficiently to drive on-time publication and publication goals
Help onboard new or returning authors to the course production process, standards, tools, and recording equipment (PowerPoint template, video editing software, audio/camera equipment, Author Kit, video content standards)
Review submitted materials for quality compliance and provide authors with constructive feedback to help them improve; including reviews of audio, visuals, spelling, grammar, design, and overall production standards.
Coordinate publication to Pluralsight.com, which includes performing video edits and reviewing authors’ changes, content details, and assets prior to publication.
Minimum qualifications/skills
Experience with video editing software, video editing, and audio/video production (Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia)
Experience with live video and recording equipment (microphones, cameras, and live video best practices)
Basic knowledge of presentation tooling and design principles ( i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)
Experience in production, project management, or a related area
Experience leading multiple concurrent projects, preferably with remote resources
Preferred qualifications/skills
Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro preferred
Education and experience requirements
Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree without experience.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
