QA Leadership & Strategy
• Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices for AEM projects.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing technical guidance and direction.
• Establish quality gates across the SDLC and ensure adherence to testing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and release readiness activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce test case review processes, ensuring all test artifacts undergo QA Lead review and approval prior to execution. Functional Testing
• Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
• Validate AEM components, templates, workflows, content fragments, and experience fragments.
• Perform end-to-end testing across Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and Production environments.
• Conduct regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT support testing.
• Validate responsive behavior across multiple browsers and devices. Test Management & Review
• Create and maintain detailed test cases in AgileTest aligned with business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Ensure complete test coverage and traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Conduct internal test case reviews and provide sign-off before execution to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to testing standards.
• Review test scenarios and test cases prepared by QA team members, provide constructive feedback, and drive continuous improvement in test design and coverage.
AEM-Specific Testing
• Test AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Headless implementations.
• Validate content authoring, publishing workflows, approval processes, and versioning.
• Verify dispatcher caching rules and content delivery mechanisms.
• Test integrations with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and third-party systems. • Validate SEO-related implementations within AEM. UI/UX & Figma Validation
• Review and interpret UI/UX designs from Figma.
• Validate implemented screens against Figma designs for pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Ensure consistency in layouts, typography, colors, spacing, responsive behavior, and user interactions.
• Collaborate closely with designers and developers to identify and resolve UI/UX deviations.
• Support design QA activities during sprint and release cycles.
Test Automation
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Automate UI, API, and regression test suites for AEM applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
• Analyze automation results and drive continuous quality improvements. API & Integration Testing
• Validate REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and microservices used within AEM solutions.
• Perform functional and integration testing of connected systems. • Utilize tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured for API validation. Accessibility Testing
• Lead accessibility testing initiatives and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and accessibility standards.
• Conduct accessibility audits using tools such as ANDI, NVDA and Level access, Lighthouse, and Accessibility Insights.
• Validate keyboard navigation, focus management, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, and semantic HTML compliance.
• Work closely with development and UX teams to remediate accessibility issues.
• Ensure accessibility compliance is integrated into release quality gates.
Defect Management & Reporting
• Manage the defect lifecycle using JIRA.
•Track quality metrics and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement defect prevention strategies.
• Support release sign-offs and production validation activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years in a QA Lead role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications.
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, content management concepts, Author/Publish environments, Dispatcher, and workflows.
• Experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, SDLC, and STLC practices.
• Experience working with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.

- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
