We are seeking an Associate Full Stack Developer to join our team and help support the continued growth and modernization of our salon management software platform. This is a great opportunity for an early‑career developer who is comfortable with Java, interested in working across the stack, and eager to learn from experienced engineers.
In this role, you will help maintain our existing Java‑based web application while contributing to ongoing efforts to modernize parts of the frontend. You’ll work on real production features used by thousands of salon professionals each day and gain hands-on experience with backend APIs, relational databases, and UI improvements.

Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to building and enhancing features across the Java/Spring backend, JSP/JavaScript frontend, and MySQL database.
Assist in maintaining our existing Java/Spring Boot application and help improve reliability, performance, and code quality.
Work with JSP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and jQuery to create user-friendly interfaces and participate in gradual frontend modernization.
Help develop and update RESTful API endpoints, including handling requests, responses, and basic error handling.
Work with relational databases (MySQL), including writing queries, updating schemas, and working with JPA/Hibernate.
Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our legacy and modern codebases.
Help troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with senior engineers, Product, and Support teams to understand user needs.
Participate in our CI/CD process, deployments, and other DevOps‑related activities with guidance from the engineering team.
Learn and apply security best practices around authentication, authorization, and protecting sensitive data.
Minimum Qualifications
1–3 years of experience building web applications (professional or strong internship experience).
Hands-on experience with Java and familiarity with the Spring framework.
Basic understanding of frontend development using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and willingness to work with JSP and legacy code.
Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL preferred).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Exposure to building or consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn new technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile team environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Experience with Spring Boot and ORM frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
Familiarity with caching or messaging tools (Redis, RabbitMQ).
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools.
Interest or experience in mobile development.
Total Compensation Range (Salary & Bonus): $58K-$90K
