The Associate Product Manager will oversee product lifecycle in healthcare payments, leverage data and AI for insights, and collaborate with various teams to ensure effective solutions are delivered.
We were tired of hearing that healthcare is broken, so we decided to do something about it. At Nomi Health, we believe the care itself isn’t broken — it’s the business of healthcare that gets in the way. Every year, more than $1 trillion is wasted on paperwork, delays, and middle layers that drive up costs and keep people from the care they need.
We’re rebuilding the system so it works the way it should: clear prices you can trust, faster payments that keep providers focused on patients, and data that helps employers make better decisions. Our work has already touched more than 30 million lives — from local communities in Michigan to some of the largest companies in the country.
We’re looking for a Associate Product Manager to join our team in Utah. You wont just manage roadmaps but challenge assumptions about how things should be done. The world is shifting daily new technology, new business demands, new expectations from patients and partners. Your role is to cut through that noise, evaluate what truly drives value, and deliver solutions that reshape how healthcare works.
This isn’t about chasing the latest buzzwords. It’s about knowing when to use AI to accelerate outcomes and
when to say “this isn’t the right fit.” It’s about building trust, simplifying complexity, and pushing past the inertia of a broken system.
If you have experience in financial payments, medical payments, direct rate contracts or networks, you’ll bring critical insights into the backbone of our work because changing healthcare means fixing how it gets paid for.
How you will make an impact
- Contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle across healthcare payments, analytics, and provider/employer networks
- Critically assess when to leverage AI, automation, or traditional approaches to maximize impact for the business and our customers
- Translate complex business and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable product strategies and delivery plans
- Partner with engineering, design, and operations teams to build scalable, ethical, and high-performing solutions
- Define success through data: set measurable goals, track performance, and iterate relentlessly
- Anticipate risks and dependencies before they become roadblocks — delivering solutions that are proactive, not reactive
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity, and accountability
What we are looking for
- 0 - 1 years in product management, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or fintech
- Critical Thinker: You know when technology adds value and when simplicity wins
- Data-Driven: Proven ability to define success metrics and deliver measurable outcomes
- Curious & Fast-Learning: You’re energized by untangling healthcare economics, payment systems, and network dynamics
- Communicator & Collaborator: Skilled at translating between business needs and technical execution
- AI-Literate (but grounded): Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, with discernment around when and how they drive value
Nomi Health delivers disruptive healthcare solutions, in partnership with like-minded employers, public sector organizations, advisors (brokers/consultants), and payers/TPAs. We’re a team of 300+ people who show up every day with the same mindset: don’t settle for “that’s just how it is.” Real change happens when you challenge the system, cut through the excuses, and build something better together.
