OVERVIEW
As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and enhancement of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possess a strong understanding of clinical trial operations, and is eager to make a meaningful impact on our product roadmap.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the product management team to assist in the ideation, design, and development of new features and products
- Participate in agile methodology meetings including daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
- Participates in design sessions: create, update, and own the feature wireframes
- Create clear, comprehensive, and well-structured Epics, user stories, use cases, and functional requirements
- Manage release note documentation throughout the project's lifecycle
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and release management, to ensure successful and timely completion of product releases
- Advocate for the end-user by understanding their needs and preferences to contribute to an exceptional user experience
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product iterations
- Participate in feature testing to ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions with cross functional team members
- Support product managers: with stories, wireframes, grooming
- Work with product management team to categorize and organize the backlog across numerous categories
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Education Experience:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in the life sciences technology industry, particularly clinical trials are preferred
Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and regulated environment
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with existing clinical trial software such as EDC, eCOA, CTMS
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as SAS, SQL, R, Python is preferred
- Experience working in an agile delivery model is desirable
- Experience working at a business for a cloud-based software platform preferred
- Experience conducting market research to gather data
- User design input experience and interest a plus
- Experience using JIRA and Aha is a plus
