OVERVIEW 

As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and enhancement of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possess a strong understanding of clinical trial operations, and is eager to make a meaningful impact on our product roadmap. 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with the product management team to assist in the ideation, design, and development of new features and products 
  • Participate in agile methodology meetings including daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning 
  • Participates in design sessions: create, update, and own the feature wireframes 
  • Create clear, comprehensive, and well-structured Epics, user stories, use cases, and functional requirements 
  • Manage release note documentation throughout the project's lifecycle 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and release management, to ensure successful and timely completion of product releases 
  • Advocate for the end-user by understanding their needs and preferences to contribute to an exceptional user experience 
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product iterations 
  • Participate in feature testing to ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements 
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions with cross functional team members 
  • Support product managers: with stories, wireframes, grooming 
  • Work with product management team to categorize and organize the backlog across numerous categories 

 

 

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE 

Education Experience: 

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the life sciences technology industry, particularly clinical trials are preferred 

Professional Skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and regulated environment 

Technical Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with existing clinical trial software such as EDC, eCOA, CTMS 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking 
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as SAS, SQL, R, Python is preferred 
  • Experience working in an agile delivery model is desirable 
  • Experience working at a business for a cloud-based software platform preferred 
  • Experience conducting market research to gather data 
  • User design input experience and interest a plus 
  • Experience using JIRA and Aha is a plus
