Role Overview:

We are looking for a data-driven and growth-obsessed Associate Product Manager to join our product-led growth (PLG) team. In this role, you will be responsible for building self-serve discovery and conversion experiences that are intuitive, reduce friction, and enable Housecall Pro to become more efficient at both new customer acquisition and deepening product adoption.

This role is designed for a motivated product manager who excels at analyzing data and leverages customer and competitive insights to identify and execute on growth opportunities. You will deliver measurable results through strategic ideation, experimentation, and rapid iteration. This requires exploring creative solutions to test your hypotheses, rapidly interpreting the outcomes of your experiments to decide next steps, and doing this repeatedly to drive growth in new customer acquisition and product adoption.

What you do each day:

Think. Help identify market opportunities and contribute to product vision and strategy

  • Conduct in-depth interviews, surveys, and market research
  • Analyze customer and business data
  • Draft and present strategy and product overview documents

Explore. Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Design, Analytics, Engineering, Product Marketing, Strategy, and Operations) to inform and validate compelling solutions to the problems/opportunities in your product area

  • Support stakeholders with sound design instincts and clear thinking
  • Co-create user flows that capture insightful data
  • Partner with business and go-to-market functions to refine product (e.g. positioning, pricing, risk management, and operational requirements)
  • Conduct user testing to validate solutions

Plan. Effectively plan how to go from idea to delivered product and communicate that plan to others

  • Create, update, and communicate roadmap
  • Plan day-to-day operations of the product team in an agile environment

Build. Drive the execution of building features and functionality and maintain momentum across stakeholder groups

Launch & Learn. Pull together everything needed to effectively launch, measure, learn, and iterate quickly to improve the product and its performance

  • Create measurement plans to monitor usage & performance, recognize irregularities, and perform root cause analysis to solve problems
  • Contribute to and support adoption plans
  • Rapidly develop post-launch product iterations


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience as an associate product manager or product manager
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with driving A/B experimentation; proficiency in designing, executing, and analyzing tests
  • Experience in analytical tools and methodologies to monitor KPIs, analyze user behavior, and identify trends and key opportunities
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present data analysis intuitively and simplify complex insights in order to articulate what matters to a wide range of different audiences
  • Passionate about identifying user experiences that drive measurable business impact by synthesizing customer and industry insights and working alongside product design. 
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration within highly dynamic and cooperative environments
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results quickly and efficiently


What will help you succeed:

  • Previous experience working in a startup or dynamic high-growth environment
  • Prior experience working in product-led growth or related discipline; demonstrated ability to drive product growth and adoption, utilizing product management frameworks and best practices

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $70,400-$88,000 + Equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
