Associate Product Engineer

Pont & Pay- Remote, FL

The Product Engineer, Associate is an entry level role in our software engineering department. The Product Engineer, Associate will write and maintain applications using the appropriate technology suite. The Product Engineer, Associate must be self-disciplined, passionate about innovation, and committed to a positive customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications
  • Assist in the design, building, and maintaining of efficient, reusable, and reliable software
  • Adhere to quality and security standards
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Assist in the maintenance of code quality and organization
  • Assist with the design and use of automated unit and integration testing

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training
  • Experience analyzing, designing and implementing software using Java, JavaScript or similar web framework technology
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL
