As an Associate Principal, Health Plan Strategic Account Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Payer Solutions by leading strategic initiatives, managing strategic client relationships, and guiding cross-functional teams. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and technical acumen to help our payer clientele optimize their technology processes while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the healthcare technology field, or a related field.
  • Deep payer/health plan expertise.
  • Proven track record in SaaS solution delivery, client management, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, and compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, analytics platforms, and healthcare IT systems.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding performance targets.

You will be:

  • Strategic Execution: Develop and execute strategies for deploying Availity solutions to meet client needs and drive success.
  • Executive Relationships: Develop strong relationships with C-suite executives and align solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Ownership and Impact: Create and own a Strategic Account plan and any risk mitigation plans, ensuring our financial success.
  • Market Share Growth: Identify opportunities within existing accounts and close deals to expand our market share.
  • Product Recognition: Value and promote the recognition of Availity products and services.
  • Client Satisfaction: Serve as the primary strategic contact for key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement.
  • Frequent Engagement: Maintain regular and meaningful engagement with clients to build strong relationships.
  • Annual Reviews: Host Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews with the client to evaluate current ROI.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance and industry insights to clients to drive better outcomes.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of trends, regulations, and best practices in the healthcare industry.
  • Product Enhancements: Provide insights to guide product enhancements and inform company strategy.
  • User Group Meetings: Participate in Availity-sponsored User Group Meetings and Conferences to network and learn.
  • Client Relationships: Align and maintain multiple client relationships across product streams.
  • Escalation Management: Co-manage escalations and advocate internally for client priorities.
  • Status Updates: Provide regular status updates on key accounts to keep stakeholders informed.
  • NPS Management: Manage the NPS stakeholder process to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Executive Presentations: Prepare executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Innovative Culture: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to drive success.
