Duties:

Work with business analysts, team leads and other developers, contributing to the architecture, design and development of scalable and resilient hybrid Cloud-based solutions that support critical financial risk management activities. Design and develop complex data pipelines to process and structure real time data using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink framework. Facilitate the migration of historical log data to Splunk, enhance long-term data analysis capabilities, and support compliance with data retention policies. Implement scheduling, deploying, and monitoring strategies for distributed services in the production environment using UC4, AppDynamics, or AutoSys. Implement Message-Oriented Middle-ware [MOM] distributed architecture using Postgres, Spring Boot 12, or Active MQ factor app methodology. Mentor and collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to drive the strategy of transforming the enterprise into a data-driven organization. Interpret business/technical requirements to create high-quality code that functions according to specifications. Develop software with agile or scrum methodologies and lead our junior developer's team. Responsible for design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient application programming solutions. Assist other developers with code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.  Up to 40%

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS or related and five (5) years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, consultant, manager or related

Special Skills Required:

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
