Position: Associate Media Manager, Wellness

Department: Marketing for PUR, Braun, Vicks & Honeywell

Work Location: Marlborough, MA or Boston, MA (Hybrid; 3 days onsite per week). Employees based in Boston will be expected to work from the Marlborough office one day per week.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a data-driven and collaborative Associate Media Manager to support paid media strategy and execution for the Beauty & Wellness portfolio, including medical devices and air & water solutions. This role will help drive brand awareness, consumer acquisition, and revenue growth through optimized media campaigns across digital channels. The Associate Media Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how consumers discover, engage with, and ultimately choose our portfolio of brands. As the day‑to‑day connective tissue between Brand Marketing, Sales, Creative, Analytics, and our media agency partners, you’ll help bring breakthrough campaigns to life and ensure they perform against business goals. This is an ideal role for someone who loves data-driven insights, thrives in cross‑functional environments, and wants to help build the future of wellness through smart, data‑driven activation.
The ideal candidate brings experience in consumer products or regulated categories, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving consumer experience through effective media strategy.

Media Planning & Execution 

  • Support development and execution of full‑funnel paid media campaigns across digital, social, search, retail media, programmatic, and emerging channels for Wellness Brands. 

  • Translate brand and business goals into actionable media plans, calendars, and launch requirements. 

  • Partner closely with our media agency to ensure activation excellence, accurate flowcharts, and on‑time delivery for annual and tentpole campaigns. 

Performance Management & Optimization 

  • Monitor in‑flight performance across channels, tracking KPIs such as ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and New‑to‑Brand sales for Beauty & Wellness, with a focus on Amazon media. 

  • Vet live tactics with agency partners and recommend agile optimizations to improve efficiency and scale. 

  • Build clear, insight‑driven reporting for internal teams with actionable next steps.  

Insights, Forecasting & Strategy Support 

  • Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform media strategy.  

  • Support testing agendas (A/B creative testing, audience segmentation, channel mix) to drive continuous improvement.  

  • Collaborate with brand, sales, and consumer insights teams to ensure media efforts align with consumer journeys and purchase behavior. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales, Content and Analytics teams to align media strategies with business goals.  

  • Serve as the day‑to‑day bridge between Brand, Sales, Creative, eCommerce, and the media agency. 

  • Provide creative teams with channel specific guidance to ensure assets meet platform best practices. 

  • Align campaign needs across brands, ensuring smooth launches and cohesive consumer experiences. 

Budget & Vendor Management 

  • Track pacing, actualization, and budget adherence across campaigns. 

  • Support agency management, ensuring clarity on deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations. 

  • Investigate performance trends and push partners toward continuous improvement. 

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Track record of improving digital/media performance and KPIs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to navigate complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments with incomplete information and competing priorities.

  • Experience with media budgeting and spend management, including pacing, forecasting, and optimization.

  • Knowledge of media planning processes and deliverables, including media plans, flowcharts, creative specifications, and billing.

  • Understanding of eCommerce, retail media ecosystems, consumer behavior, and the purchase journey.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that support business and revenue goals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while driving results.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, adaptability, and agility in dynamic environments.

  • Curious, collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.  

  • 2+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or media planning.

  • Retail media experience, ideally with Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect.

  • Experience working with agencies and managing external partners. 

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Brand, eCommerce, Sales, Creative, Regulatory). 

  • Digital media planning and execution (paid social, search, display, retail media). 

  • Performance marketing expertise (CAC, ROAS, conversion optimization). 

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta, Amazon Ads, DSPs, The Trade Desk.

  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Google Analytics, BI platforms). 

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advertising agency experience.

  • Experience in consumer products, wellness, healthcare, or regulated categories.

In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $70,447 - $88,059 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
