The Manager Leadership Program is intended to be a 24-month opportunity.

In this role, you will:
- Assist in the planning and execution of business development, recruiting, team development, branch administration, compliance, and operations in the branch network
- Work with the Market Manager to support the market business plan, promote the firm in the local community, and grow market share
- Manage a branch or territory for periods of time to enhance development
- Assist in supporting and developing the management team with a focus on driving productivity, recruiting new and experienced advisors, expense management and other initiatives
- Assist in compliance, regulatory, and administrative issues relating to the market
- Develop relationships with key Financial Advisors and stakeholders to enhance the client experience and increase retention
- Utilize tools to understand policies and procedures, brokerage operations standards and governing bodies regulatory roles and regulations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member
- This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction
- Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
- 5+ years of Financial Advisory Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- US only: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 63 or 7 and 66 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- Business development experience
- Leadership or management experience
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to foster effective partnerships and innovations
- Financial services or banking industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding of investment products and services
- US Only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
- Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
- FINRA Series 9/10 and 65 (or 66) examinations or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period, depending upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
- Manager Leadership Program participants are encouraged to begin pursuing Area Manager and Branch Manager roles after 18 months. Please note that the firm's policy regarding eligibility to apply for internal positions applies while participating in the Program. If you do not secure one of these roles after being in the Program for 24 months, Wells Fargo may offer you the opportunity to continue to participate in the Program for up to an additional six months, at its sole discretion, for a maximum of 30 months total.
