What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly capable Associate, Fintech Network Implementation to lead the technical and operational implementation of card networks for both issuing and acquiring programs under our bank partnership model. This role manages the full lifecycle of network setup—including BIN sponsorship, MID configuration, routing, and settlement—and ensures successful go-lives for new fintech programs. As a core stakeholder in the onboarding process, this role partners closely with Fintech Onboarding Managers and Strategic Partnership Managers to deliver timely and compliant network enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing Network Implementation:
- Manage end-to-end BIN sponsorship, configuration, and activation with Visa, Mastercard, and other applicable networks.
- Coordinate primary and secondary network routing to ensure optimized transaction flow and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee settlement and funding readiness, ensuring proper linkage with bank treasury, processor, and network-level requirements.
- Support network certification, testing, and profile validation prior to program launch.
- Acquiring Network Setup:
- Lead acquiring implementation including MID setup, merchant routing, and terminal configuration for payment acceptance programs.
- Ensure acquiring parameters are aligned with merchant use cases, risk thresholds, and funding flows.
- Interface with acquirer processors, gateways, and bank partners to establish clearance, settlement, and dispute resolution infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
- Act as a critical stakeholder to Fintech Onboarding Managers and Strategic Partnership Managers, ensuring network setup aligns with partner onboarding timelines and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Product teams to ensure proper governance and audit readiness.
- Provide technical guidance and operational expertise to internal teams and external partners throughout the onboarding process.
- Governance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, BIN/MID status, and implementation checklists.
- Track network milestones and escalate risks or delays to ensure alignment with overall partner go-live schedules.
- Support ongoing network maintenance, including routing updates, mandate implementations, and network relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in card network operations or payments infrastructure, with deep understanding of both issuing and acquiring.
- Strong technical knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and/or other payment networks.
- Experience with BIN sponsorship, MID configuration, transaction routing, and network settlement processes.
- Proven track record of working with processors such as FIS, Marqeta, Galileo, Worldpay, TSYS, etc.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project execution skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining compliance and regulatory operational standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in bank–fintech partnership models (e.g., program management, PayFac enablement, embedded finance).
- Familiarity with network certification processes, test environments, and production readiness milestones.
- Working knowledge of authorization flows, chargebacks, dispute management, and reconciliation reporting.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
