Summary of Position  

At Teladoc Health, pricing is strategy. As Associate Director of Strategic Pricing, you will be an instrumental leader that shapes how our products are brought to market, win commercial deals, and deliver insights that inform C-suite decision making. You will lead high visibility pricing strategy, partner directly with Sales in client facing negotiations, and synthesize market signals into actionable recommendations for C-suite executives. You will shape how Teladoc Health creates value for patients and clients, competes in evolving markets, and translates imperfect data into actionable insight. This role is deeply analytical, highly strategic, and directly tied to enterprise growth. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 Powerhouse for Deal Negotiation Support for Sales (client facing) 

  • Support Sales on complex RFPs, renewals, and early-to-late-stage negotiations and give pricing guidance and approvals based on timely and highly proficient financial modeling (including scenario modeling, multiyear P&L forecasting, sensitivity modeling etc.

  • Present, guide and advocate for go-no-go decisions for complex deals with C-suite leaders (e.g. designing and recommending creative options, contingencies etc.

Translate market + product signals into executive level insight 

  • Convert voice of market and voice of clients feedback, competitive dynamics, sales trends into C-suite–ready read-outs with clear so-what and recommended paths, despite imperfect data 

  • Create executive ready and polished materials (visuals, polished and strategic words smithing & story-board) for C-suite update & discussions

Own analytics driven pricing strategy & support commercialization of flagship products 

  • Spearhead pricing strategy (fee structure, performance guarantee, price points etc) for product launches and set pricing that is competitive, compelling for clients and delivers desired business objectives 

  • Work very effectively with enterprise stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Operations & Legal to influence go-to-market strategy, fine tune and evolve pricing strategies, with ability to manage dependencies, risks & trade-offs  

  • Price and position next generation healthcare products & offerings using market benchmarking, willingness to pay analysis across channels, cost drivers & profitability analyses, and by aligning value to clients and enterprise 

Advance analytical capabilities through home-grown AI innovations  

  • Ad-hoc financial modeling and analyses to unlock pricing-related insight and enhancement opportunities for profitability & competitiveness   

  • Mentor analysts and influence cross functional teams; elevate analytical and commercial acumen companywide through home-grown AI use cases and innovations 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a quantitatively rigorous field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Finance, Pricing, or Analytics within a quantitative function

  • 3+ years of experience owning dynamic financial modeling on multi-year P&L for product launches or client deals

  • 2+ years of industry experience driving business outcomes in healthcare or digital/virtual care companies 

  • 1+ years of experience in producing executive ready insight presentations on financial results, market landscape, competitors & voice of clients  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Analytics) or equivalent advanced analytical training

  • 2+ years of experience working with sales team with data-driven price-setting for clients proposals or giving price guidance to sales team, with demonstrated ability to defend or improve revenue and margin 

  • 2+ years of experience pricing B2B healthcare or virtual care products or offerings for health plan clients, with demonstrated ability to defend or improve revenue and margin 

  • 1.5+ years of experience with data-driven business case, with market landscape and TAM/SAM segmentation, SWOT analyses against competitors etc.

  • Experience designing risk based, ROI linked, or claims based pricing models

  • Experience with AI supported modeling tools, or pricing automation

  • Experience with aligning commercial incentives to business economic targets

  • Ability to lead or co-lead cross functional “pricing or go-to-market sprints” to accelerate commercialization or GTM of products 

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
