What You'll Do:
- Serve as the operational GM for the Equine, Feed, and Exotics segment, owning all day-to-day execution and long-term operational health.
- Drive in-stock performance through deep alignment with forecasting, replenishment, and vendor-facing supply teams.
- Lead DEX and delivery experience initiatives tailored to the unique characteristics of large-format and specialty product shipping.
- Partner with FC Operations to ensure warehouse handling and throughput readiness, especially for bulky or regulated products.
- Coordinate inbound logistics execution, ensuring timely PO routing, freight optimization, and carrier performance.
- Own final-mile performance, focusing on service levels, transit time compliance, and delivery quality.
- Craft and operationalize segment-specific SLAs, packaging standards, and fulfillment routing strategies.
- Act as the voice of operations in executive-level decision making for the segment, reporting KPIs and resolving critical issues.
- Partner with Product and Tech teams to identify and implement tools and process automation that improve visibility and efficiency.
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics management; preference for experience in large-format goods, animal nutrition, or specialty distribution.
- Shown success operating as a business owner across multiple operational domains (e.g., in-stock, logistics, fulfillment, last mile).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Outstanding communication and cross-functional leadership abilities, including experience working with FCs and upstream supply chain partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while leading multiple high-priority initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in feed, equine, or exotics distribution, or experience leading temperature-, size-, or regulation-sensitive SKUs.
- Familiarity with WMS, OMS, and transportation management systems.
- Experience working in an eCommerce, retail, or high-growth consumer goods environment.
