About This Role
The Associate Director, Payer & Channel Marketing (PCM) is accountable for planning and executing payer and reimbursement marketing activities to support brand objectives for several future launches in nephrology. In this role, the individual serves as a critical liaison aligning brand strategy to market access and reimbursement priorities, with the ultimate goal of optimizing patient access to therapy
What You’ll Do
Drive market access launch strategy and development of payer and reimbursement marketing initiatives for a therapy intended to treat
Ensure alignment and coordination of Market Access & Reimbursement strategies across both commercial and government payers with US Brand/commercial partners
Establish value narrative and execute multichannel campaign to deliver; liaise with Global Value & Access / HEOR teams and US Brand teams to build messaging tailored to various stakeholders, including government and private payers, health plans, and PBMs.
Collaborate with National/Regional/Trade Account teams and field reimbursement teams to understand field needs; design and execute impactful tactics and programs.
Develop strategies and frameworks for access and reimbursement engagement with KOLs, providers, and other key contacts within our provider customer base.
Develop and deliver appropriate pre- and post-launch payer and channel resources (e.g. DSA, PIE, Economic/BOI Considerations, BIM, PVP and pull-through resources)
Own the regulatory and legal approval (Promotional Review Committee/PRC) of all payer and reimbursement marketing tactics.
Manage our vendor agency of record to ensure fulfillment and execution of projects and tactics within budget.
Lead the annual brand planning process for access and reimbursement activities related to ALS.
Partner closely with Business Insights & Analytics, HCP Marketing, Patient Marketing, and Nephrology Franchise leadership to monitor the progress of the various initiatives and adjust execution plan appropriately

Required Skills
BA, BS or equivalent required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred
7+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharma industry experience, including direct responsibility for marketing activities, ideally for payers
Demonstrated understanding of payer market dynamics as it relates to commercialization, pricing, specialty distribution and overall access for infused buy-and-bill medicines (commercial, Medicare Part B, FFS/Managed Medicaid, and VA/DoD)
Experience or background in HEOR strongly preferred
Experience in developing tools and tactics applicable to US payer markets and customers
Strong sense of professionalism, accountability and urgency for defined areas of responsibility
Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward to meet budgets and timelines
Ability to communicate tactical direction and related concepts clearly, orally and in writing, across internal and external audiences (e.g., payer account team, sales, marketing, advocacy)
Heightened ability to collaborate, influence, and work with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver results
Experience managing multiple demands and priorities on time and under business constraints

Previous nephrology payer and channel marketing experience

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
