Job Title:  Associate Director, Nutraceutical Marketing- AMER 

Location: Morristown, NJ

Join Lonza’s Capsules & Health Ingredients team as a Nutraceutical Marketing Associate Director and help shape the future of the nutraceutical market across the Americas. This highly visible marketing leadership role partners with global and regional stakeholders to drive market strategy, launch innovative products, and deliver impactful customer-focused campaigns within a growing billion-dollar business.

This role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite at our Morristown, NJ location. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration, stronger cross-functional partnerships, and effective execution across commercial, analytics, and business systems teams. We offer flexibility to work remotely for the remaining portion of the workweek, in line with business needs.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Lead the Americas Nutraceutical marketing strategy by translating global business objectives into regional growth initiatives, market plans, and commercial execution.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to identify high-growth segments and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Global Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Sales, and other commercial teams to support product launches, lifecycle management, and commercial excellence initiatives.
  • Develop and localize value propositions, positioning, and omnichannel marketing content that strengthen market differentiation and customer engagement.
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns, digital programs, customer events, and go-to-market activities that drive awareness, demand generation, and business growth.
  • Build strong relationships with key nutraceutical customers, industry organizations, and internal stakeholders to gather market insights and support customer-focused solutions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and market success metrics while providing actionable recommendations to optimize marketing effectiveness and return on investment.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience with a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Experience within the nutraceutical, health ingredients, life sciences, specialty ingredients, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify new customer segments, strategic target accounts, and growth opportunities.
  • Strong ability to translate market intelligence into impactful campaigns, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that improve engagement, lead generation, and commercial effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated success using data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing performance, measure ROI, and improve campaign outcomes.
  • AI-savvy marketer with experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance market analysis, customer targeting, content development, campaign execution, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across regional and global teams.
  • Proven project management and multitasking capabilities, with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, results-oriented professional with strong business acumen and a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Travel up to 20% required.
