About this role:

As an Associate Director for Application Architecture, you will work with teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level to solve challenging client problems leveraging technology and analytics. As an Application Architecture expert you will work with IT leaders e.g., CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects as well as Solution Architects, Integration architects and Data architects. You will assist our public sector clients in driving technology related strategic decision-making.  You may work on a variety of client engagements, including but are not limited to:

  • Develop application modernization strategy, roadmap and estimate the required investment

  • Conduct technology assessments of the application and data ecosystems, identifying current challenges and developing mitigation strategies

  • Design future state technology reference architecture for solution(s), integration and data, identify required capabilities, platforms, tools and design operating model

  • Perform solution options analysis and identify and assess potential platforms and solutions may help the client to achieve its business objectives

In this role, you will assist Managing Partners in growing the Application services business, preparing proposal, and participating in the client presentation

What you’ll need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in designing and developing complex enterprise solutions leveraging hybrid and cloud architecture and platforms e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, Google

  • Expertise in developing technology reference architecture, data architecture based on the architecture best practices

  • Experience in designing and developing application leveraging low-code platforms e.g., Salesforce, Appian, Mendix, ServiceNow

  • Expertise in design and developing scalable, extensible and integrated analytics platform

  • Expertise in developing hybrid integration architecture and deep understanding of API management

  • Understanding of cloud technology components and architecture patterns e.g. Dockers and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ Service Mesh), Message Queuing, Microservices

  • Ability to have detailed discussion with solutions architects as well as summarize the technology view for senior executives e.g., CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects

  • Experience working with government organizations is preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 136,000 USD - 165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
