This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Business Strategy and Operations and serves as the primary market intelligence thought partner to Commercial, Marketing, R&D, and Strategy leaders. The Associate Director sets the methodology, frameworks, and priorities for the market intelligence function, owns end-to-end delivery of insights across both the PD and acute portfolios, and is accountable for final deliverables that inform executive decision-making. While both the Associate Director and Senior Manager report to the Senior Director, the Associate Director provides functional direction to the Senior Manager, including setting project priorities, reviewing work products, and ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy. The Associate Director operates with moderate-to-high autonomy and is accountable for the full enterprise view of market intelligence.

  • Lead the development of executive-level deliverables, including strategic reviews and planning discussions; accountable for the quality and strategic alignment of all insight-driven outputs presented to senior leadership.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Diagnose systemic gaps between insights generated and actions taken; lead the resolution of adoption barriers across stakeholder groups.

  • Develop tools, templates, and communication approaches that make insights accessible and actionable for field and functional teams.

  • Champion change initiatives tied to new ways of working; accountable for ensuring alignment, clarity, and sustained behavioral shifts across stakeholders at all levels.

  • Act as a connector across functions to reinforce alignment and consistency in how market insights are used.

  • Own the roadmap for market intelligence capability development, including process improvements, data source governance, and quality standards across the team.

  • Lead the effort to build a strong, insight-driven culture across the organization; model standards for analytical rigor and strategic communication.

  • Provide direct functional guidance and quality oversight to the Senior Manager; mentor junior team members and elevate the overall quality of analytical outputs across the team.
