Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Data Platform will be responsible for the roadmap and continued enhancement of the Privia Health data platform, alignment and input into the overall platform strategy and roadmap. This role will be highly integral to defining the strategic growth and interoperability of Privia's core technology, as we scale the data and platform needs of our expanding Care Partners business model. This role has an opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, including Privians supporting payer contracting, population health analytics, and medical economics and analytics, from requirements definition to launch.
Primary Job Duties:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and product evangelist for data components, with a focus on the Privia Care Partners’ platform - primarily payer data management, multi-EMR data management, and data warehousing
- Key member of the Care Partners leadership team tasked with understanding the business objectives and aligning data and product roadmaps accordingly
- Work collaboratively with engineering, analytics and other stakeholders to continue the maturation of Privia’s data warehouse, data architecture and platform solutions, driving results and meeting agreed upon timelines
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, governance, and security to ensure the platform scales effectively
- Partner with Product Owners on products and projects managing incoming product requests from a variety of functional areas and stakeholder expectations
- Facilitate communication between business teams and technology teams including enabling and contributing to documenting business and functional requirements, product specifications and participating in testing the resulting functionality
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and technology partners, to understand their needs and expectations, and how this impacts the overall platform
- Key contributor towards operations, communications, and workflow strategy of Privia’s proprietary technology, EMRs, and national vendor relationships, with a focus on identifying technical gaps and strategic growth opportunities
- Collaborate and problem-solve with Product Operations leadership on complex issues or problems
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including knowledge of EMR/EHR data structures, claims, attribution and quality data, and clinical data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), as well as how this data impacts operational strategies
- Proven experience in product ownership or management, preferably in value-based care or healthcare technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Strong technical skills - not a developer, but is able to investigate technical issues including strong competency in SQL and other database concepts
- 3-5+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a product or program management role

The salary range for this role is $112,000.00 - $125,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
