We’re looking for a strategic communicator to join us as Associate Director, CW Channel Engagement. In this role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of patient/prospect facing communications across CenterWell’s owned channels. You’ll ensure every interaction—whether digital or print—is timely, relevant, and aligned with our mission to put health first.

CenterWell is part of Humana Inc., and this role sits within the Marketing Organization, a key component of the broader Enterprise Growth team. You’ll collaborate closely with partners across Portfolio, Media & Brand, Product, Consumer Insights & Analytics, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Data & Technology.

As Associate Director, CW Channel Engagement, you will oversee the development and execution of communication strategies across CW platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns that enhance patient engagement, support retention, and elevate the in-center experience.

  • Develop and lead channel strategies for CW communications across owned channels, social, email, SMS, portal, and print, ensuring alignment with patient needs and business priorities.
  • Manage campaign execution workflows, including segmentation, targeting, scheduling, and delivery optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Product, Consumer Insights & Analytics, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Data & Technology teams to ensure communications are clear, compliant, and impactful.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support personalization and journey-based communication efforts, enabling dynamic content and contextual messaging across channels.
  • Ensure operational excellence, partnering with execution teams to manage intake, prioritization, and delivery across CW channels.

Your leadership will help CenterWell deliver meaningful communications that build trust, drive action, and support better health outcomes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in channel marketing, campaign execution, or patient communications.
  • 3+ years of strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of digital and print communication channels and performance metrics.
  • Prior experience with Reputation Management, internal owned channels, social media handles, Facebook.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic, multi-channel engagement initiatives to drive business objectives.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional projects and optimizing engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, engagement analytics tools, and digital communication technologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or certification in Marketing Strategy, Digital Communications, or Healthcare Marketing.
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or Sprinklr, Google Business Listings/Yext.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient communication standards.
  • Background in journey orchestration or dynamic content delivery.
  • Experience in agile marketing or workflow optimization.

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

 

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$138,900 - $191,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
