- Provide technical and documentation support to the North American Customer Quality Engineering team, including preparing customer deliverables, reviewing and coordinating customer PPAP and Supplier PPAP (SPAP) documentation, maintaining quality records, tracking quality action items, and supporting customer communications.
- Coordinate and execute customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions, ensuring customer-specific requirements, documentation, and submission timing are achieved
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Juniors, seniors and graduate students with an interest in the automotive industry
- Preferred majors: Engineering, manufacturing, quality engineering, technical writing, statistics and economics
- Experience: One previous internship/co-op experience and/or of automotive work experience with strong engineering fundamentals and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of tooling processes, PPAP requirements, and quality control in the automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to global teams. English required.
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Takes initiative and is self-driven to deliver results beyond expectations.
