Position Overview:
We are looking for an Associate Commercial Director to support our business development and sales initiatives targeting law firms on the US West Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional interested in the legal industry and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a client-facing, sales, or business development role and a passion for building relationships and providing solutions to clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities within law firms, ranging from small practices to large national or global firms.
- Assist in managing a pipeline of prospects by conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, and preparing sales materials.
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with key contacts at law firms, with mentorship and guidance from senior team members.
- Work collaboratively with the product and solutions teams to understand our offerings and how they address the needs of law firms.
- Deliver introductory sales presentations and product demonstrations alongside senior sales professionals.
- Participate in client proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and contract processes, with oversight from senior colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 6 months to 2 years of experience in a commercial, client-facing, or business development role - preferably within professional services industries such as legal, financial, or consulting.
- Interest in the legal industry and technology solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Enthusiastic about learning solution-based, consultative sales approaches.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience or internship in legal technology, SaaS, or professional services sales is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
