About the role… 

ShopMy is seeking a detail-obsessed, process-oriented Catalog Management Associate within Brand Support to ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our product catalog as we continue to scale. This role plays a critical part in powering our platform experience — ensuring creators and consumers can reliably discover and shop products through clean, structured, and up-to-date catalog data.

You’ll work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Brand Growth, and Marketing — as well as with third-party partners— to manage day-to-day catalog accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and help develop scalable systems that support high-volume catalog operations. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who thrives in the details, can spot errors before others do, and brings a proactive mindset to solving data problems.

Roles and responsibilities…

  • Ensure product data accuracy across the ShopMy catalog through ongoing review and structured clean-up work
  • Monitor and enforce catalog quality standards, surfacing inconsistencies and correcting them independently
  • Become a subject matter expert in catalog structure to align on taxonomy, categorization logic, and tagging best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Brand Growth teams as well as third party vendors to execute high-quality catalog updates
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks or systemic catalog issues and propose scalable solutions
  • Document processes and contribute to catalog operations playbooks as we scale

Our non-negotiables…

  • Prior experience in catalog work, content operations, or data entry in a digital or e-commerce environment (preferred but not required)
  • Native-level English with exceptional written communication
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in structured tools like Airtable, POPSQL, or Notion is a plus
  • Demonstrated attention to detail — this role requires precision
  • Self-motivated and proactive: you don't wait to be told there's a problem
  • Fast learner with a knack for understanding and applying complex categorization logic
  • Interest in e-commerce, marketplaces, or consumer platforms is a plus

Additional skills and attributes…

  • Experience working with third-party vendors or human-in-the-loop teams
  • Familiarity with catalog structures in a marketplace or e-commerce setting
  • Background in tagging, metadata, or categorization frameworks

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
