The Job:  

As an Associate Brand Manager, you’ll be part of our CRAFTSMAN® North American Brand team working as a hybrid employee based in Valley City, OH. You will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovative and dynamic brand activation strategy across our iconic brand portfolio in North America. You will manage day to day project activities as well as drive the strategic choices that will enable the Stanley Black & Decker brand portfolio to achieve its short and long term goals. The Associate Brand Manager will further be responsible for owning a project portfolio and managing deliverables with the cross-functional team. You’ll get to: 

  • Support coordination and strategic partnership with multi-functional marketing team in development and implementation of plans with excellence
  • Helps plan and execute integrated digital campaigns including website, email, organic social, search and paid media
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver improved end user experience across all touchpoints (online and offline)
  • Works with Digital Marketing team alongside NA Brand Activation Team on objectives, KPI alignment and performance and helps makes recommendations to improve executions
  • Helps manage creative development process: Starts new jobs, develops creative briefs, reviews creative provided by internal studio partners and provides feedback.
  • Is a steward of the Brand portfolio across the organization - leads development and adherence to Brand Guidelines as well as manages brand creative assets (photography, creative, etc.) to provide to multi-functional partners

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field
  • 1+ years in a marketing or brand role
  • Hungry for data/analytics to dive deep into our end-user needs and problem solve.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills that can manage internal/external partners with varying degrees of knowledge of digital marketing
  • Strong business acumen, including financial/budget management skills.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to meet and exceed goals
