Northern Light is looking for a driven, high-potential Associate Account Executive to help accelerate our growth by supporting and contributing to enterprise sales efforts. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales, this individual contributor role is a critical link between lead generation and deal execution, providing an excellent growth path toward a full Account Executive position.

You’ll collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to qualify leads, engage target accounts, and support the sales cycle with research, preparation, and execution. This role is ideal for someone with previous Business Development Representatives experience or an early-career sales professional eager to develop enterprise selling skills in a high-impact, consultative environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and engage inbound and outbound leads through discovery calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Support Account Executives by conducting account research, preparing for meetings, and helping advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Customize and deliver prospect communications, sales collateral, and follow-up materials that align with buyer priorities.
  • Participate in and help facilitate product demos and consultative conversations with prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, engagement, and opportunity progression in Salesforce.
  • Learn and apply Northern Light’s enterprise sales process, gradually taking on ownership of sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and Northern Light product updates.



Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or entry-level sales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Driven by a deep curiosity and passion for mastering enterprise sales, with a commitment to ongoing growth and development.
  • A collaborative, resourceful mindset and eagerness to contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo).
  • A passion for technology, learning, and driving results.



Work authorization requirements:  

Must be authorized to work in the United States (unfortunately we cannot sponsor visas). 



Job Type: Full-time.  

 

Work Location:
Remote within the US. 
(Preference for Eastern Standard Time Zone) 

Base Salary Range: $65,000 USD – $75,000 USD depending on qualifications and years of experience. 

 

This position is eligible for commission in addition to the base salary of between $39,000 and $45,000. The actual amount will vary and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the commission plan.
