STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in our Buildings group in our Boston, MA office.

One of STV’s priorities is to continuously reimagine how we work with the aim of improving project performance. This individual will provide fundamental support to senior staff through all project phases, and in so doing they will be integral to STV’s purpose in making communities better through innovative solutions that connect people, places and the present to the future. We provide design services to majority of public agencies and some private corporations. Current projects include public transit terminals, transportation maintenance facilities, public convention spaces, and correctional facilities. Other potential projects include correctional facilities, commercial/retail, public health, and education buildings. This is a full time position with a minimum of 3 days a week in-person.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Pursuit Phase: assist the Project Manager (PM) in developing the delivery, business and resourcing strategies, coordinating with stakeholders, crafting compelling proposal content, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and submission requirements.

· Mobilization and Start-up: Support the PM in planning and starting the project per STV standards and requirements. This will include working with the PM on all project activities including project scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, coordination, and manpower required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.

· Project Execution: Support the PM in the day-to-day management and administrative activities required for efficient delivery of STV’s services and deliverables. This will include:

o leading regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review team performance and update the PM that the client’s expectations are being met.

o Tracking that project objectives are achieved.

o Prioritize and handle demands on multiple client projects simultaneously

· Closeout: assist the PM in planning and implementing the orderly demobilization of the project team and close out of the project records.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification/experience in one of the following fields: Engineering, Architecture, Planning or Construction/Project Management.

· 1-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Familiarity with project management tools and software.

· Successful candidate will have path to guidance and development for Project Management

Compensation Range:

$91,976.90 - $105,116.46
