As an Assistant Manager, Sales Development - Renewal Sales, you will support the senior management team in leading renewal sales functions while directly overseeing the Philippines-based VSS CRM1 team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the renewal sales process, proficiency in Salesforce, NICE, and other sales applications, and proven ability to coach, delegate, and motivate. In this role, you will drive team productivity and ensure quality performance that aligns with our company’s long-term vision.


What you’ll do:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Philippines-based VSS CRM1 team, ensuring productivity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Set clear goals, objectives, and expectations for the team.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions (individual and team) and provide opportunities for formal and informal development.
  • Partner with Sales Trainers, senior leaders, and HR to refine training, growth, and succession plans.
  • Monitor submissions to ensure accounts are sent to the appropriate lender with approved templates and language.
  • Review declined submissions for eligibility for reconsideration.
  • Ensure accounts eligible for marketplace waterfall are properly routed.
  • Assign approvals according to partner requirements and preferred attribution.
  • Oversee assigned calling lists to ensure follow-ups with accounts carrying active balances.
  • Maintain limited CRM1 responsibilities to support business generation.
  • Provide pipeline support to senior renewal team members through delegated calling lists.
  • Monitor merchant communications to confirm submissions meet “qualified” criteria.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and directors on strategic plans, reporting team performance and progress.
  • Fill in for senior managers as needed, including supervision, scheduling, and target management.
  • Monitor quality assurance and escalate issues or system problems promptly.
  • Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and compensation decisions.
  • Lead performance management and accountability initiatives to meet and exceed company goals.
  • Create an environment that consistently delivers excellent customer service while aligning with company culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales or corporate management roles
  • Experience conducting performance reviews
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Competency with CRM software, Salesforce is preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Experience with dialer systems, NICE preferred
  • Ability to lead team-building initiatives
