Job Summary
As an Institutional Sales Associate (ISA), you will be working with your client advisor(s) helping Institutional clients/prospects navigate the complexities of the broader capital markets by offering timely solutions. You will partner with a team of Client Advisors and strive to meet goals by successfully marketing and supporting JP Morgan Strategies in Canada. This role is most rewarding for candidates who like to work collaboratively, are strong communicators, and enjoy making a true difference in helping clients achieve their investing goals.
Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships alongside with your client advisor(s) with top-tier clients and prospects through consultative, proactive phone conversations that deliver the JPMAMC value proposition
  • Ownership of territory data in CRM & responsible for ongoing maintenance
  • Proactively identify and engage clients and prospects around strategic initiatives, while partnering with Client Advisors to cultivate relationships and leverage industry resources to spot trends and opportunities.
  • Responsible for the coordination & delivery of client communications & events
  • Provide superior client service by being responsive, thoughtful and making the clients' needs the focus
  • Leverage cutting-edge technological tools to showcase our resources to clients in a more user-friendly way
  • Partner with Client Advisors by being completely aligned on the objectives needed to achieve goals
  • Demonstrate effective territory management skills by focusing on timely follow-up, conducting strategy reviews, scheduling meetings/events and lead generation
  • Convey the thought leadership of our Market Insights team & other resources to aid clients' understanding of the ever-changing market landscape
  • Work closely with internal partners (Legal, Marketing, Compliance, etc.) to meet the daily needs of clients & prospects


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of financial service experience preferred and/or related sales leadership experience
  • Self-starter with passion for sales and the financial markets
  • Proven results shown through sustainable achievement in a competitive environment
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the client, competition, and marketplace
  • Capacity to build relationships across entire organization and with our partner firms
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • CSC Dealing Representative license required within first 6 months


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • CIM/CFA or progress toward the designation preferred
  • Bilingual: French preferred
