We are looking for a highly motivated college intern to join the ASIC IP Design team in Austin, TX. In this role you will be chartered with developing IP targetting Ericsson 5G Radio and Baseband ASICs. We foster a culture of empowerment, development and collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned mentors across disciplines.
Ericsson's enterprise portfolio consists of mission-critical networks, dedicated / private networks, fixed wireless access and edge devices, small and medium business solutions, and Ericsson IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity and security solutions.
What you will do:
• Write and verify functionality of RTL• Analyze and optimize circuits implemented using advanced process nodes• Use state of the art EDA technology for optimizing power, performance, and area (PPA)• Partner with engineers across multiple disciplines on cross functional initiatives.
The skills you bring:
• Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering• Excellent knowledge of digital logic design• Good understanding of digital integrated circuits and VLSI systems• Excellent knowledge in programming languages such as C++/TCL/Python• Proficiency with problem solving
You might also have:
• Knowledge of System Verilog• Familiarity with version control systems like git• Familiarity with Linux environments
