About the role 

We are hiring a Data Engineer to support consulting engagements and the execution of pre-sales solutions integration data work. You will utilize your skills in applied data analytics and data engineering to turn raw data into actionable insights. 

What you’ll do 

  • Work closely with consulting and solutions project leaders to support project-level data analysis needs.
  • Execute ETL processes on various customer data sets.
  • Perform both standardized and ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Produce data visualizations using software such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel to clearly convey important data insights.

Consistently refine and improve the tools and processes utilized by yourself and others on the data team


Requirements

Required qualifications 

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal individuals and teams as well as external stakeholders.  
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science in a professional setting, or formal education in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
  • Strong with SQL (data modeling, ad hoc querying, query performance).
  • Experience working with analytical tools such as Alteryx, dbt, or Microsoft Excel.

Preferred qualifications 

  • Experience working with, Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Understanding warehouse distribution, logistics, and processes.
  • Tableau (publishing curated datasets, dashboard performance basics).
  • Hands-on experience working with Databricks.

Experience in warehouse automation/intralogistics (AMRs, AutoStore, shuttle, sortation, WES/WCS).
