About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Art Director to lead how Janji shows up visually across every customer touchpoint. This role owns the synthesis of art direction, campaign design, content development, and visual storytelling, ensuring that Janji consistently feels premium, authentic, and deeply connected to our customer, the explorer runner.

You will lead creative direction across seasonal campaigns, product storytelling, website visuals, and marketing initiatives, shaping work from early concept through final execution. This role requires both high creative taste and strong execution: someone who can define visual direction, guide collaborators, and personally design at a high level.

The ideal candidate is deeply tuned into design trends across outdoor, performance, fashion, and culture; but they also know how to filter those influences through Janji’s unique lens. You understand how to make technical products feel desirable, how to create content that earns trust from discerning runners, and how to elevate a brand without losing authenticity.

What You’ll DoArt Direction & Campaign Leadership
  • Lead art direction across all marketing initiatives, seasonal launches, and brand campaigns
  • Develop visual concepts that reinforce Janji’s product performance, premium positioning, and brand worldview
  • Own seasonal storytelling from pre-production through go-to-market
  • Create briefs, moodboards, storyboards, and shot lists for photo and video content
  • Direct photoshoots, including styling, visual direction, and on-set decision-making
  • Guide video development from concept through editing and feedback
  • Art direct external designers, photographers, editors, and creative partners
Design
  • Serve as design lead across marketing initiatives, delivering high-quality graphic design across channels
  • Create campaign assets for digital, retail, email, social, and brand storytelling
  • Maintain a high bar for typography, composition, layout, and visual consistency
Website & Digital Experience
  • Lead homepage visual management and campaign execution on janji.com in coordiation with Janji’s E-commerce Manager
  • Drive UI/UX design thinking across key website touchpoints
  • Own image selection, editing, and visual presentation of product and campaign assets online
  • Partner closely with e-commerce and marketing to improve digital storytelling and conversion
Content & Production
  • Lead visual planning for e-commerce and lifestyle content shoots 
  • Ensure photography and video consistently showcase the product in a way that feels compelling, credible, and elevated
  • Help define how Janji’s content evolves across channels over time
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in art direction, brand design, or creative leadership
  • Strong portfolio showing campaign thinking across photo, video, graphic design, and digital
  • High fluency in design trends across outdoor, running, fashion, and culture
  • Strong understanding of product storytelling, especially in apparel or technical goods
  • Experience directing photoshoots and managing creative production
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite and modern design workflows
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and digital-first design
  • Strong creative instincts paired with excellent organization and follow-through
