Real Chemistry is looking for an Art Director join our growing Market Access team! This role can be remote in the US or in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, or Philadelphia.

Job Description:

Market Access Art Director 

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team as the first art hire dedicated to supporting market access payer marketing and patient services work. This role will service a diverse portfolio of work across approximately seven clients. 

Duties: 

  • Lead the design of payer marketing and patient service materials, ensuring high-quality work that meet client objectives and expectations  

  • Follow project development routes on Workfront, maintaining an efficient workflow 

  • Collaborate with account team members and project managers to understand priorities  

  • Partner with market access copy and strategy team members to visually compelling presentations and materials 

  • Partner with internal art counterparts to ensure alignment to client branding and design guidelines 

  • Attend hot sheet and internal status meetings, collaborating with market access teammates  

  • Engage with clients to present creative work 

 

Requirements: 

  • ~4 years of experience in art direction with a strong agency portfolio  

  • 2+ years of market access agency experience preferred 

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, InDesign, and knowledgeable in the design of Veeva platform assets 

  • Experience managing multiple projects and delivering on tight deadlines 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members 

Client Work Overview: 

  • Payer Customer Field Tools: Design customer-facing PowerPoint presentations, Veeva-based iDetail presentations, and formulary/WAC flashcards 

  • Reimbursement Support Collateral: Design templates for letters of medical necessity, denials templates, appeals templates, and prior authorization checklists 

  • Training Materials: Design engaging presentations and sales tools/collateral for account managers and field reimbursement manager training 

  • Creative projects of Interest Scoped for 2025: 

  • Design a patient services platform for a biotech company focused on neurodegenerative diseases 

  • Create a health economic-focused market shaping campaign and field tools for a digital therapeutic 

Reporting Structure: 

Reporting in to Lead, Payer Marketing and Patient Access

This role is considered an individual contributor 

 

Pay Range: $70,000-$83,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
